１月半ば、久しぶりに会った友人とほろ酔いながらこれからのお互いのビジョンについてお互い語り合ったことをきっかけに、今回、京都のギャラリーでPOMPETTEというブランドを立ち上げました。"Pompette" というのはフランス語で「ほろ酔い」という意味で、ほろ酔い好きな二人が「ほろ酔い」なブランドを立ち上げた、というわけです。（笑）けれども意外にまじめで働き者のユニットです。ほろ酔っているときのように、みんなにちょっとリラックスしてもらってハピネスを広げたいという想いも込めて。
Mid-January, as I was sipping wine with my friend from college, we began discussing about starting a business together. The next thing, I move to Fukuyama where my partner lives to work together towards our first show in Kyoto. And then a month flies by as we brainstorm and work away with our creativity and hands. So this is our brand, "Pompette," which means "tipsy" in French - related to how all of this came to life. But it's also about being relaxed and happy - just like when you're a bit tipsy.

初ショー（ギャラリー・ショップ）のために１ヶ月福山でピコピコ製作をしていたら、ブログの更新ができずにショーが終わってしまいました。ごめんなさい。たくさんの友人に来ていただき、通りがかりの人に立ち寄っていただき、色々なプラスのフィードバックをいただいて、とても楽しく、勉強になりました。ここからがスタートでここから前進し、形にしていきたいと思っています。
The show was great fun. Many friends and relatives came by as well as friendly strangers spontaneously passing by. This is only the beginning. We have lots of ideas and are really excited to move forward.
