expo & opening party

久しぶりのアップです！
５月下旬にニューヨークへ２週間ほど行って（友達の結婚式＆バケーションを兼ねて。久しぶりのニューヨークと友達たちとの 再会・・・夢のような２週間でした）帰ってきてから嵐のような２週間．．．６月５日のエコ・プロジェクトの展示会オープンと６月１２日のオー プニンング・パーティーに向けて猛準備をしていました。田舎、都会、田舎、フランス語、英語、日本語、フランス語．．．そしてエコプロジェクトとニューヨーク、との行き来で脳みそをミキサーにかけられたかのように混乱した１ヶ月でした。展示会の仕上げに追われながら、木の枝の皿を５０枚編んで、前夜は徹夜しながら５０人分のブランチ・パーティーの準備．．．大変でしたが結果的には展示会を観てくれた人、パーティーに来てくれた人、みんな喜んでくれたので頑張った甲斐がありました！みんなの笑顔で疲れは一気に吹っ飛びました。

アントワネットとアンドレはパーティーと同じ日に宿泊客が来るためシャンブルドットを仕上げるのに追われていて（近日アップします）、３人ともそれぞれに早朝から深夜まで働き続けていました。ウーファーの子たち（次のポストで紹介します）は私たち３人の間でキャッチボールされて．．．みんなきっと泣きたいぐらいしんどい思いをしていました。そしてパーティーの当日手伝ってくれたアントワのママン、ご近所さんや友人たち．．．本当にみんなの力なしでは達成できませんでした。みなさん、本当にありがとうございます。

一段落ついてホッとしたところ．．．今週の土曜日から第一回のアトリエが始まります。走り続けます！

After coming back from my surreal two week vacation to New York, it was two weeks of madness and a whirlwind, preparing for the June 5th opening of the exposition and June 12th opening party. My mind was already confused going back and forth between the eco-project, countryside and New York; from being alone to seeing all of my dear friends; speaking French, English and Japanese... it felt like my brain was just tossed around and ground in a mixer. Then, preparing the exposition and a brunch for 50 people within two weeks... at times we were all about to fall apart but we worked together hard, encouraged each other and got it together. In the end, all the compliments and smiles from the guests made it all worth the hard work. Thank you again, dearly, to everybody who helped us put this together.

Now, our first workshop starts this Saturday. So our adventure begins!
