The window frame has cleaned up a lot. Pounding the hammer with a chisel, grating and brushing off with steel wool... and now we have to grate the old paint on the front. But for now, we have to move onto another project - building the bed for the 'Japonisme' room. Fun!
窓枠のパッキン削りの仕事が一段落着きました。一人で黙々と金づちとヘラをガンガン打ち、へばりついている細かい残りをドライバーでゴリゴリ削って、仕上げにスチールウールで磨く、という作業でした。次はこの枠をひっくり返して表のペンキを削ってまたスチールウールをかけることです。でもこの仕事はひとまずおいて、今はジャポニズムの部屋のベッドを作っています。ジャポニズムの部屋がもう少しで仕上がるので楽しみ。
